Our team confirms the landlord owns the property and inspects the home. You see the yearly rent, caution fee and service charge up front — no surprise agency add-ons later.
Set a monthly amount and choose how long to lock it — 3, 6 or 12 months, or until your renewal. Need it early? Give 30 days’ notice. Savings are held with a CBN-licensed partner bank; returns are a target, not a promise.

If your employer is a Vaqnt partner, your rent can come straight out of your salary before it reaches your account. No missed debits, no reminders needed. Not a partner yet? Ask HR to talk to us.
Report a repair with photos and follow every step. Message your landlord in one thread. When it’s time to leave, give notice, book the move-out check and track your caution fee refund — and raise a dispute if something isn’t fair.
If your landlord isn’t on Vaqnt, invite them by WhatsApp or SMS, or ask us to call. Once they’re verified, your current home can move to a monthly plan at renewal.
You need to be 18 or over, live in Nigeria, and have a BVN, NIN and a bank account in your name. You should be salaried for at least 6 months, or self-employed with 12 months of bank statements, and the monthly plan should be no more than 40% of your take-home pay.
A one-off origination fee of 3% or less of the yearly rent, paid when your plan is approved, then interest of 3% or less a month on what you still owe, set by your credit check. On ₦2,400,000 over 12 months at 3%, you pay ₦72,000 at approval, then ₦241,109 a month. No other charges, and you see your exact rate and total before you sign.
Yes, any time, with no penalty. Pay off early and you won’t pay interest for the months you don’t use.
We remind you before each debit. If one fails, we retry over the next 5 days and call you to agree a plan. After 7 days a late fee of 2% of the missed amount applies, and missed payments can be collected under your debit mandate and reported to credit bureaus. Talk to us early — we’d rather sort it with you.
