Does listing cost anything?
Listing is free, and if you take the year upfront you receive the full rent with nothing taken off. Prefer monthly payouts? We keep up to 5% of each payment if you carry the risk of late rent, or up to 10% if we guarantee you’re paid on time.
What if a tenant stops paying Vaqnt?
You’ve already been paid for the year. Collecting from the tenant is our job, not yours. Every tenant signs a debit mandate before their plan starts, so we can recover missed payments directly.
Can I keep my current tenant?
Yes. Your tenant can invite you from the app. Once we verify you, they can move to a monthly plan at renewal and you get the year upfront.
What happens at move-out?
You do the move-out check together in the app, agree any deductions from the caution fee, and we handle the refund. If you disagree, there’s a fair dispute process with a mediator.
